I work with a group of CBO’s committed to environmental stewardship in urban communities. Together we Recycle Tires, Clean Up Creeks, and Remove blight! As apart of the RE<<MOVEMENT Campaign we are working on 40 "Community Clean Up to Green Up" projects. Thanks for stopping by! I would love to have a calendar in the future! For now, I tend to publish events in either individual blogs or by lumping like events together into one blog post. The best bet would be to click on the “Events” category to the right since I tag all events with that. That used to include just future events, but I’ve started tagging events that I’ve done, too, so there’s a mix in there. So much goes on in Atlanta that I would suggest subscribing to some of the eNewsletters that organizations have, such as Georgia Conservancy, Southeast Green, Trees Atlanta, the BeltLine, etc.

Just wanted to say I’m enjoying snooping around your blog. I found it by way of searching for blogs commenting on Stump Jump. I’m signed up to run it in a few weeks as my first ultra. I didn’t realize your blog was about so many things I hold dear to my heart though… cool! I’m a big runner, hiker, novice cyclist, avid recycler and steward of the outdoors (as much as I can… but that needs work).

AND… I must say thank you for serving our beloved country. My brother was just commissioned a 2L in the Army (GA Nat’l Guard). I find that with the exception of my boyfriend, most of my friends who share my love of taking care of and enjoying the environment don’t share or understand my support of the military. So yay for you and all the work you’ve done!

Anyway, congrats on the Boston qualification… that’s my big goal right now. Maybe we’ll run into each other at Stump Jump as well.
